The synopsis makes the main story far more intriguing than it really is. Haru and Akio’s relationship is quite bad, but you don’t find out how bad until you’ve already warmed up to the idea of Haru being with Natsuhiko. Though the end was pretty clear, it still felt unfinished, as did the other stories in the volume. All the stories start off like something you can sink your teeth into, but once you do, you realize they’re just plastic fruit.
