Zankyou no Terror S1 Ending

At first thought, blue probably seems like a calming color. Most people consider a day beautiful when the sky has little to no clouds and there’s blue as far as the eye can see. And a beautiful night is when the stars are twinkling in front of an expansive curtain of deep, soothing blue. But I see blue as a pretty restless color. Without the twinkling stars, the night sky just seems ominous. There’s also the mysteriousness of the deep blue sea and the practice of applying a blue tint to film sequences to heighten the mood and put viewers on alert. Creepy and unsettling.

The song, “Dareka Umiwo,” sung by Ichika Aoba is haunting and paired with the visuals, an oppressive atmosphere develops.
