Kusumoto Hiroki: Wild Butterfly

It took a long time for me to give in and read this. My hopes were not high for this; for no other reason than the cover not appealing to me. And it turns out that I didn’t like it all that much. The stories weren’t bad; they just didn’t have enough weight to them. And yet, they did manage to depress me. Even the happiest ending was muddled by death. I like depressing stories; I write depressing stories, but this collection was… I can’t find the words.
