YES!! this is the movie of Watership Down!!!!!! so so so good :’>

If you haven’t seen this film, then you may not understand exactly how beautiful it is. From beginning to end I was intrigued, entranced, in awe, and in love. It is from a children’s book, but this so much more than a children’s story. It touches on life, devotion, greed, family, friendship, honor, betrayal, power, loss, fear, survival, compassion, sympathy, empathy, and so many other things that define what it means to be human. Yes, Watership Down is a story about rabbits, but it really is so much more. There’s also a narrative regarding ecology, conservation, and preservation. And the Art Garfunkel track (sung by, but not written by), Bright Eyes, goes so well with the film; it’s incredible. If you want to cry, feel good, feel bad, feel something, just watch it.
