Oscar Wilde: Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime and Other Stories

Read by Rupert Degas and David Timson

I only finished the title story, which was good. The second story was The Canterville Ghost and while I am fond of the story, the reader was an English speaker of the non-American variety affecting an American accent and that’s exactly what they sounded like–it hurt my ears. I only made it halfway through the story before giving up. And since the recordings are only broken up by announcement within the audio and not by tracks that you can navigate, I ditched this one. I was 2/5 of the way through, so I’ll see if I can find another recording and pick up where I left off.
