On the very short list of people I’ve held near and dear throughout my life, four of them have had to face the type of childhood trauma that’s at the center of this short comic. I was glad to see that this ended on an up note, because not every story does.

It’s horrible, living in fear that there’s something terrible inside you, like you might be some secret monster, requiring constant vigilance lest the beast be unleashed.
Even without having such experiences, this statement holds true and strikes a chord with me. I got this back in November, then, earlier this year there was a kickstarter to fund a small print run. I missed out on that.
