This is a straightforward best friends-to-lovers story. It’s very cute and the main characters, Maa-chan and Tai-chan, act like best friends who are in love with and having sex with each other. I think they both display the right balance of confusion, hesitation, and impulse for their personalities and circumstances. I was happy to see that they managed to overcome those things without unnecessary amounts of drama. And the girl! Miyoshi used the catalyst role that is often cliche and annoying, but she made it a brief, respectable, and funny one. And it was turned into comedy gold with Tai-chan’s comeback!
I’ve read this so many times. I’m looking forward to reading more Miyoshi.
