First Impressions: Kishimoto Seishi’s Sukedachi Nine C01

Kishimoto Seishi--Sukedachi Nine-01

I read the first chapter. An eye for an eye. It’s a scary thought to have a justice system with that as the pinnacle precept for disciplinary action. The first chapter sucked me right in. I’m not familiar with Kishimoto’s previous work, so I don’t have anything to compare it to to say that this is any kind of grand return, but I can see that he’s a good storyteller.

It’s interesting, macbre, and entertaining. I was in something like a trance while reading.
