I’m sure I’m not the only one who buys something they’ve been missing for a while and when they bring it home they just step back and stare at it, pull it close and hug it, and then rub their cheek against it. I’m sure I’m not alone… I’ll just keep telling myself that.
I’m guessing you guys know that I like Bleach. Well since I started reading it again after a very long hiatus, I have been having a ball! My return has been made even more awesome now that I’ve found my Bleach soul mate. Seriously. I don’t know how I stayed away for so long.
Aaaaaaaanyway, after I was reunited with my first shonen love, I decided to catch up on my print volume purchases as well. I picked up most of them from the post office today. I already had had 1-19, 27, 28, and 31-33, so I needed to fill in the blanks and get up to date. The top pic is 20-26, 30, 35, and 38-48. In the bottom pic is 49-56. When I first saw the more recent volumes with red numbers instead of the familiar cheddar and tomato, I immediately rejected the change. However, after looking at it for a while, I got used to it. Also, all that staring got me to thinking about why change it and why do it on this volume. I’ve got my suspicions, but I’ll leave that be for now.
I’m still waiting on 29, 34, 36, 37, and 57 (which is on pre-order), but since I opened the first package, I’ve been feeling my Bleach heart getting closer and closer to becoming whole again. Saying stuff like that… I almost wish I was kidding.
If it wouldn’t damage them or give me paper cuts, I’d spread them over my bed and roll around in them.
